یہ ایک خوبصورت لڑکی کی کہانی ہے جس سے ہر کوئی محبت کرتا تھا، لیکن سوال یہ تھا کہ اس سے شادی کون کرے گا؟

کہا جاتا ہے کہ ایک نوجوان نے اپنے والد سے کہا: “میں ایک لڑکی سے شادی کرنا چاہتا ہوں، جسے میں نے دیکھا ہے اور جس کے حسن و خوبصورتی اور دلکش آنکھوں نے مجھے مسحور کر دیا ہے۔”

والد خوشی سے مسکراتے ہوئے جواب دیتے ہیں: “کہاں ہے وہ لڑکی، تاکہ میں تمہارے لیے اس کا رشتہ مانگوں؟”

جب وہ دونوں لڑکی کو دیکھنے جاتے ہیں تو والد بھی اس کے حسن سے متاثر ہو جاتا ہے اور اپنے بیٹے سے کہتا ہے: “سن بیٹا، یہ لڑکی تمہارے لائق نہیں ہے، تم اس کے قابل نہیں ہو۔ یہ تو ایک ایسے آدمی کے لیے ہے جو زندگی کا تجربہ رکھتا ہو اور جس پر بھروسہ کیا جا سکے، جیسے میں۔”

لڑکا اپنے والد کی بات سن کر حیران ہو جاتا ہے اور کہتا ہے: “نہیں، میں اس سے شادی کروں گا، نہ کہ آپ۔”

پھر وہ دونوں جھگڑتے ہوئے پولیس اسٹیشن چلے جاتے ہیں تاکہ مسئلہ حل کیا جا سکے۔ جب انہوں نے پولیس افسر کو اپنی کہانی سنائی تو افسر نے کہا: “لڑکی کو بلاؤ، ہم اس سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ وہ کس کو چاہتی ہے، بیٹے کو یا والد کو؟”

جب افسر نے لڑکی کو دیکھا اور اس کے حسن سے متاثر ہوا، تو اس نے کہا: “یہ تم دونوں کے لیے مناسب نہیں، یہ تو میرے جیسے کسی اہم شخص کے لیے ہے۔”

اب تینوں میں جھگڑا ہوتا ہے اور وہ وزیر کے پاس چلے جاتے ہیں۔ وزیر لڑکی کو دیکھتے ہی کہتا ہے: “یہ لڑکی تو صرف وزیروں کے لائق ہے، جیسے میں ہوں۔”

اسی طرح ان میں جھگڑا ہوتا رہا اور معاملہ امیرِ شہر تک پہنچ گیا۔ جب امیر نے لڑکی کو دیکھا، تو اس نے کہا: “یہ مسئلہ میں حل کرتا ہوں، لڑکی کو لاؤ۔”

لڑکی کو دیکھ کر امیر بھی کہنے لگا: “یہ تو صرف کسی امیر ہی سے شادی کر سکتی ہے، جیسے میں ہوں۔”

پھر سب نے بحث کی، تو لڑکی نے کہا: “میرے پاس ایک حل ہے۔ میں دوڑوں گی اور تم سب میرے پیچھے دوڑو گے، جو بھی پہلے مجھے پکڑے گا، میں اسی کی بن جاؤں گی اور اس سے شادی کروں گی۔”

لڑکی دوڑی اور پانچوں یعنی نوجوان، والد، پولیس افسر، وزیر اور امیر سب اس کے پیچھے دوڑے۔ اچانک دوڑتے دوڑتے پانچوں ایک گہری کھائی میں جا گرے۔

لڑکی اوپر سے انہیں دیکھ کر کہتی ہے: “کیا تمہیں معلوم ہوا میں کون ہوں؟ میں دنیا ہوں!!!
میں وہ ہوں جس کے پیچھے ہر انسان دوڑتا ہے، اور اپنی آخرت اور دین کو بھول جاتا ہے۔ وہ سب میری تلاش میں لگے رہتے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ قبر میں جا گرتے ہیں، اور پھر بھی مجھے حاصل نہیں کر پاتے۔”

کہانی ہمیں یہ سبق دیتی ہے کہ دنیا کی چمک دمک کے پیچھے بھاگنے سے بہتر ہے کہ ہم اپنے دین اور آخرت پر توجہ دیں، کیونکہ دنیا فانی ہے اور ہمیں کبھی بھی مکمل طور پر حاصل نہیں ہو سکتی۔

Summary Of This Story

This is the story of a girl whom everyone loved, but the question was who would marry her?

A young man is said to have said to his father: “I want to marry a girl, whom I have seen and whose beauty and charming eyes captivate me.”

The father replies, smiling happily: “Where is that girl, that I may ask for her relationship for you?”

When they both go to see the girl, the father is also impressed by her beauty and says to his son: “Listen, son, this girl is not worthy of you, you are not worthy of her. This is such a man.” For someone who has life experience and can be trusted, like me.”

The boy is surprised to hear his father say: “No, I will marry her, not you.”

Then they both quarrel and go to the police station to sort out the problem. When they told their story to the police officer, the officer said: “Call the girl, we ask her who she wants, the son or the father?”

When the officer saw the girl and was impressed by her beauty, he said: “It is not suitable for you two, it is for someone important like me.”

Now the three have an argument and they go to the minister. Seeing the girl, the minister says: “This girl is only fit for ministers, as I am.”

In the same way, there was a quarrel between them and the matter reached the Amir of the city. When Amir saw the girl, he said: “I solve this problem, bring the girl.”

Seeing the girl, the rich man also said: “She can only marry a rich man, like me.”

Then they all argued, so the girl said: “I have a solution. I will run and all of you will run after me. Whoever catches me first, I will become his and marry him.”

The girl ran and the five, the youth, the father, the police officer, the minister and the rich, all ran after her. Suddenly, the five of them ran and fell into a deep ditch.

The girl looks at them from above and says: “Do you know who I am? I am the world!!!
I am the one behind whom every man runs, and forgets his hereafter and religion. They all seek me, even to the grave, and still cannot find me.”

Moral of the story:

The story teaches us that it is better to focus on our religion and the Hereafter than to run after the glitter of the world, because the world is impermanent and we can never fully attain it.
