سات پریوں کی کہانی

کسی گاؤں میں ایک غریب کسان رہتا تھا . غربت کے ہاتھوں تنگ آ کر ایک روز اس نے شہر جانے کا فیصلہ کر لیا ۔ اس کی بیوی نے اسے سات روٹیاں پکا کر دیں جنھیں اس نے ایک دستر خوان میں باندھا اور شہر چل پڑا ۔ کئی گھنٹے مسلسل چلتے رہنے کی وجہ سے وہ تھک گیا تھا اس لیے وہ ایک اندھے کنوئیں کے پاس پہنچ کر آرام کرنے کے لیے رک گیا۔

کچھ دیر آرام کرنے کے بعد اسے بھوک ستانے لگی تو اس نے اپنا دسترخوان نکال کر سامنے رکھ لیا اور اپنے آپ سے کہنے لگا۔ ” ایک کھاؤں دو کھاؤں تین کھاؤں یا ساتوں کی سات ک جاؤں…. جس اندھے کنوئیں کے قریب وہ بیٹھا ہوا تھا اس کنوئیں میں سات پریاں رہتی تھیں۔ انھوں نے جب کسان کی باتیں سنیں تو سمجھیں کہ وہ ان سے مخاطب ہے۔ ایک پری بولی یہ تو کوئی عجیب مخلوق ہے جو پریاں کھاتی ہے۔ دوسری نے کہا: اب اس سے جان کیسے چھڑائیں ؟… آپس میں گفتگو کرنے کے بعد وہ سب اس نتیجے پر پہنچیں کہ سب سے بڑی پری اوپر جائے اور اسے کہے کہ اسے جو لینا ہے وہ لے اور ہماری جان چھوڑے

سب سے بڑی پری اوپر آ گئی اور کسان سے کہنے لگی : تم ہم سے جو بھی مانگو گے ہم تمھیں دیں گے مگر خدا کے لیے ہمیں کھانا مت پری کو دیکھ کر پہلے تو کسان در گیا تھا مگر جب اس نے پری کی باتیں سنی تو وہ بھی شیر بن گیا اور اسے کہنے لگا

تمھیں میں صرف اس شرط پر چھوڑ سکتا ہوں کہ تم مجھے سونے کا انڈا دینے والی مرغی لا دو پری اسے فوراً سونے کا انڈہ دینے والی مرغی لا دیتی ہے اور کہتی ہے : تم مرغی کو اپنے سامنے رکھ کر کہنا، چل مرغی اپنا کارنامہ دکھا تو یہ اپنا کارنامہ دکھا دے گی۔ کسان مرغی لے کر خوشی خوشی واپس اپنے گاؤں کی طرف چل پڑا۔ گاؤں سے چونکہ بہت دور ا چکا تھا اسی لیے راستے میں رات ہو گئی اور اس نے سوچا کہ کہیں کوئی اس سے مرغی ہی نہ چھین لے اس لیے اس نے قریبی گاؤں میں پہنچ کر ایک مکان کا دروازہ جا کھٹکھٹایا اس مکان میں ایک بڑھیا رہتی تھی
جب کسان نے اس سے گھر رہنے کی اجازت مانگی تو بڑھیا نے اسے اپنے گھر میں رکھ لیا رات کا کھانا کھانے کے بعد جب وہ سونے کے لیے اپنے بستر پر لیٹے تو کسان نے بڑھیا کو اپنی مرغی کے کارناموں کے بارے میں سب کچھ بتا دیا ۔ کسان بڑھیا کو مرغی کا راز بتا کر خود تو سو گیا مگر بڑھیا جاگتی رہی اور جب اسے یقین ہو گیا کہ کسان اب سو چکا ہے تو اس نے سونے کے انڈے دینے والی مرغی چھپا دی اور بالکل ویسے ہی مرغی لا کر اس کی جگہ پر رکھ دی دوسرے روز جب کسان سو کر اٹھا تو اس نے بڑھیا کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور مرغی لے کر اپنے گھر کی طرف چل پڑا جب وہ گھر پہنچا تو بیوی سے کہنے لگا اج میں ایک بڑا ہی نایاب تحفہ لایا ہوں۔ تو مجھے ابھی وہ نایاب تحفہ دکھا اس کی بیوی نے کہا ۔ کسان اب مرغی کو اپنے سامنے رکھ کر بیٹھ گیا اور بولا: چل اپنا کارنامہ دکھا !! اب وہاں سونے کا انڈا دینے والی مرغی ہوتی تو اپنا کارنامہ دکھاتی ۔

جب اس کی مرغی نے سونے کا انڈا نہ دیا تو اس کی بیوی اسے کہنے لگی: تیرا تو بس دماغ خراب ہو گیا ہے، بھلا کبھی مرغی نے بھی سونے کے انڈے دیے ہیں کسان نے اسے یقین دلانے کی بہت کوشش کی مگر اس کی بیوی نہ مانی۔ دوسرے روز کسان پھر اسی کنویں پر جا پہنچا اور کہنے لگا : ایک کھاؤں دو کھاؤں تین کھاؤں یا ساتوں کے ساتھ ہی کھا جاؤں اس کی اواز سن کر پريوں کو بہت غصہ آیا کہ وہ پھر اگیا ہے

سب سے بڑی بہن کنویں سے باہر نکلی اور کسان سے کہنے لگی: اے لالچی انسان !! تجھے ہم نے اس قدر قیمتی تحفہ دیا تھا مگر تمہارے حرص پھر بھی ختم نہیں ہوئی اور تم اج پھر آگئے ہو کسان نے پری کی بات سن کر کہا: تم نے میرے ساتھ فریب کیا ہے مجھے ایک عام سی مرغی دے کر کہا یہ سونے کا انڈا دیتی ہے پری بہت سمجھدار تھی اس نے کسان سے پوچھا کہ وہ راستے میں کسی کے گھر رکا تو نہیں تھا کسان نے اسے بڑھیا کے گھر ٹھہرنے والی بات بتا دی پری نے سوچا کہ ضرور اسی بڑھیا نے سونے کا انڈا دینے والی مرغی چرآئی ہوگی ۔ پری نے سوچا کہ ضرور اسی بڑھیا نے سونے کا انڈا دینے والی مرغی کسان سے چرائی ہوگی پری نے اب کی بار کسان کو چھڑی لا کر دی اور اسے کہا کہ اس چھڑی کو لے کر پھر اسی بڑھیا کے گھر جاؤ اور اس سے اپنی مرغی واپس مانگو اگر بڑھیا مرغی واپس کر دے تو بہت اچھا اور اگر وہ مرغی واپس نہ دے تو تم کہنا چل میرے ڈنڈے اپنا کمال دکھا اور چھڑی اپنا کمال دکھانا شروع کر دے گی جب بڑھیا تمہیں مرغی واپس دینے کے لیے راضی ہو جائے تو کہنا رک جا اب ڈنڈے

کسان چھڑی لے کر پھر اسی بڑھیا کے گھر پہنچ گیا اور اس سے اپنی مرغی کی واپسی کا مطالبہ کرنے لگا جب بڑھیا نے مرغی کے بارے میں اپنی نا علمی کا اظہار کیا تو کسان نے کہا چل میرے ڈنڈے اپنا کمال دکھا کسان نے یہ بات کہنی ہی تھی کہ ڈنڈا بڑھیا پر برسنا شروع ہو گیا بڑھیا بہت چیخی چلائی مگر کسان بالکل خاموش رہا اور چارپائی پر بیٹھ کر اس کا تماشہ دیکھنے لگا آخر بڑھیا کب تک ڈنڈے کی چوٹیں برداشت کرتی کچھ ہی دیر بعد وہ کسان سے کہنے لگی کہ اپنے ڈنڈے کو روکو تمہاری مرغی میں ابھی واپس دیتی ہوں یہ سن کر کسان نے کہا رک جا اب ڈنڈے!! اور ڈنڈے نے برسنا ختم کر دیا بوڑھیا نے کسان کو اس کی مرغی واپس کر دی اور وہ اسے ساتھ لیے اپنے گھر چلا گیا۔
گھر پہنچ کر جب کسان نے بیوی کو مرغی کے کارنامے دکھائے تو وہ بہت حیران ہوئی دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے کسان بہت امیر بن گیا اور وہ میاں بیوی ہنسی خوشی اسی گاؤں میں زندگی بسر کرنے لگے۔
